I don't want to see him in Cincy, and honestly I don't know really where I want to see him go. The teams showing interest in him are the teams that I don't really like.

Yeah the real issue is the number of failed tests.

NCAA says you're supposed to kick em off after 4 failed tests. Then Tyrann goes in an NFL interview and said he fails at least 10.

Public perception is now that LSU covered up 6 failed tests & violated the NCAA's substance abuse policy.

Has anyone mentioned the fact that these tests could have been spaced too close together and he still had thc in his system from prior to a previous test? I can see them throwing out a test if he came in lower on a second one within too short a period of time.

LSUs policy does not require the tests be given by the NCAA.

LSU has a policy in place and if these comments by TM are true, blatantly broke those rules and guidelines.

Comprehensive drug testing procedures may be used by the athletic department
including, but not limited to, urinalysis testing, hair sample testing, breathalyzer, etc…Testing
protocol includes the following:
1. All illegal drugs.
2. Synthetic Marijuana
2. Prescription drugs without a prescription.
3. Taking prescription drugs for purposes other than their intended use.
4. Taking non-prescription drugs for purposes other than their intended use.
5. Utilizing supplements for either nutritional and/or body building purposes that contain illicit or
NCAA Banned Substances. This includes anabolic steroids.

Very sad that this coaching staff let this go on for as long as it did.

That's not the message sent by TM7's quotes:

"I quit counting my failed drug tests after 10."

He was booted off far after that is the insinuation - and the insinuation is an enabling program.

I don't know if that's fair or not and it's just weed so I don't care - but objectively - that's the public perception of the article if you're not wearing P&G glasses.

But not too big a deal.

Tests weren't all administered by lsu every time....so lsu did not commit any violations according to rulea

Their policy has clear penalties for tests 1-3 and none of which were adhered to if he failed 10 tests, UNLESS, 8 of them were after the end of the 2011 season. I'm not talking about violating NCAA rules...I am talking about LSU's own policy.

CBS Sports radio is reporting that the NCAA will launch an investigation into the LSU football program and the compliance department because of these allegations according to multiple "confidential" sources.

Essentially TM said LSU/Miles violated their own policy on drug abuse.
Oh yea?

What did LSU's policy say about Synthetic Weed during 2010 and the 2011-2012.

TM7 never said he failed all those tests for weed. The original 1 game suspension was for spice. Maybe spice was used by the players to get around the drug policy because there was no penalty on the books regarding it prior to 2011 or so???

the only tests that count against the policy are the ones administered by the university.....if les threw tm7 a cup and told him to pee and he failed, it would not count against the policy. just an example...not saying thats how it happened. But i do know LSU covered their asses here and made sure to not commit any violations

Not really earth-shattering news there. The NCAA could launch an investigation for multiple reasons at any school.
