@DMANews1will host a press conference TODAY at 11:00 a.m. EST, at the Moakley Federal Courthouse in Boston to announce the dismantling of an alleged marriage fraud ring that arranged hundreds of sham marriages in Massachusetts designed to obtain unlawful immigration benefits and generating more than $6 million in profits. The alleged conduct spanned more than a decade. WATCH LIVE @ 11 AM
It's everywhere, folks. Damn. Now that the .gov is offering bounties for fraud receipts, maybe it's time some of us made career changes and became full time fraud busters.

They're showing the public what's been done by a bunch of these higher profile political ruling class folks, but with setting the precedent on rando immigration fraudsters first.

I really like this idea of paying citizens a bounty to expose fraud. When we started this deal like 10 years ago we didn't have SI tools like we have now. Imagine how effective an anon can be in this day and age when it comes to rooting out fraud.

I want bounties on turning in illegal aliens.
They get $2600 if they go home on their own.
It costs about $15-20k to track them down and forcibly deport them.
It's entirely reasonable to me that a $10k bounty for each illegal identified and put on ICE's radar should be paid to US citizens.
Tax-free, of course.

That would be a significant career change!

Even at 5k, one trip to the local Walmart could net somebody some very nice play-around cash.
Ours has a Lowes right next to it, I'd seriously take it in.

I'm thinking about building something like this...
Core Architecture of a Fraud-Hunting Agent Swarm
To replicate or scale what an independent investigator does manually, a swarm requires specialized autonomous agents collaborating in a pipeline:
Data Ingestion Agents (The Scrapers):
Job: Pull unstructured and structured public data. This includes state-level Secretary of State business registries (to check LLC ownership), IRS Form 990s (non-profit filings), federal spending databases (USAspending.gov), property tax records, and local grant disbursements.
Geospatial & Visual Verification Agents:
Job: Take addresses or business names from public spending lists and cross-reference them with Google Maps, street-view imagery, or local property databases to flag anomalies (e.g., a multi-million-dollar childcare facility registered to a residential home, a vacant lot, or a strip mall with a mismatched storefront).
Entity Resolution & Relational Agents (The Semantic Layer):
Job: Map out webs of connections. This is where standard LLMs fail without advanced semantic handling—they need to figure out if "John Smith" at Corporation A is the same "J. Smith" managing a recipient non-profit, tracking shared mailing addresses, phone numbers, and hidden corporate layers.
The "Evidence Judge" Agent (Your Validation Layer):
Job: Act as a strict adversarial filter. Before any lead is flagged as "actionable fraud," this agent evaluates the collected data against legal definitions of discrepancy, eliminating false positives (like a legitimate business operating out of an executive suite or a minor clerical reporting error) to ensure high signal-to-noise ratios.
I've got most of that built already, but for a different sort of project. It might be worthwhile to retool it and set it to tracking this sort of shite down instead.

You're making me worry for some of our not-so-beloved posters on here Boar.
It might be. Depends on scope and survivability. Eventually the marks will run out.
A grab it while it lasts, kinda thing.

They fricked with the wrong one.
Nah, I'm just bullshitting. My project has nothing to do with hunting shills. But the core architecture for both projects is similar. It would just be a matter of reassigning different agents jobs. But yeah, a grab it while you can venture for sure.

How long before the administration is sued to prevent it?

Boasberg is drafting his injunction as we speak.

Trump is methodically cutting off the kickback funding used by the Democratic party

Look, I'll do it for a gift card to Chick-Fil-A .... or dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant.

I wouldn't want it to be a matter of just harassing someone because they're of Hispanish origin. That's not what I'd want from this scenario.
I'm talking about actionable tips on folks who live in your neighborhood - way too many cars outside for reasonable occupancy in single family homes, questionable employment for cash, etc.
If we all clean up a couple of square miles around us, we'll get the lion's share of the folks who aren't supposed to be here (or here any longer in the case of visa overstays) in months.
