You want him to risk his NFL career for LSU's single season tight end receiving record?

No I couldn’t care less about the record, but it is an incentive for him.

My motive is to not have Givanni Peterson as our only available TE

Play until he gets it, call some low impact high catch plays for him. Then pull him afterwards.

Just like what Malik did.

Then change the thread title.

Mason shouldn't play in the bowl game if we're being honest with ourselves.

He could have 0 catches for 0 yards or 18 catches for 210 yards and his draft stock doesn't move at all.

It's all risk for him.

I didn’t say he should break the single season record

Thread title is accurate, he should play.
We probably don’t win the bowl game last year without Brian Thomas

Really not that risky for a day 2 guy.

This is dumb as shite. It's an exhibition game and that kid can't do anything to improve his stock.

100% college football/ LSu football is no longer about the team ; it’s about me me me.

He could get run over mowing his front yard. RIP Eric.

Would put him at #1 for every category for LSU TEs except career TDs (10). Currently has 6

Dang, he only has 6? Seems like a lot more that, but that could be because him crossing the goal line on a specific 2 point conversion has been replayed so often. He’s earned the right to sit out for that imo. These bowl games are different now, more about the sponsors and tv than the schools and team.
