Marceaux needs to pitch on Sundays

so LSU has a chance to win the final game. Let the rum dumbs go against the aces of the other teams on Friday. LSU can't hit good pitching and Marceaux, as good as he is, can't pitch shutouts against SEC top teams every game. He deserves much better.

So when lsu needs to average 2 or so wins a weekend the rest of the way to get in a regional, you want to shrink it to 1 win a weekend? Interesting

not sure how you came to that deduction. We don't count on Sunday wins anyway. Marceaux could give us a chance on Sunday. We can't seem to beat the other teams best on Fridays, so it can't be any worse, and Marceaux is better than almost every team on Sunday pitching. Labas is still our key to winning a series on Saturday.

Look at it this way, we are 50/50 or better to win game 1 and game 2. We are prob 35-40% on sunday.
Your proposal puts us at 10% on friday, and 80% on sunday with saturday unchanged.

I think it would be a better idea to move Marceaux to Saturday and Labas to Sunday. That gives us the best chance at winning 2 a weekend.

After this weekend it won't matter. Will have to win nine in a row to be 15/15.

I think we are about 30% on Fridays, 50% on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays.
therefore, I think my proposition makes as much sense as what we presently do, with our ace losing more than he wins. Our best pitcher is 2-4 in SEC play. Just change something and that is as good a place to start as any.

Kinda late for that. Our final 3 weekends are not near the caliber of pitching that we've seen thus far. But, I know you wouldn't know that bc you don't even know how to sort stats on the LSU page. Go to bed.

Marceaux has pitched game 1 in 6 series now. We are 3-3 in those games. He’ll be a favorite in the next 3 game 1s. So your argument is not based in reality
