when did miles ever have 13 players ranked outside the top 20 at their position in a class?

ed orgeron has never in his life had a top 14 class for his own program.

he isnt an elite recruiter when he has to sell his own program.

This is where I have some concern. All if his recruiting accolades have been when he was recruiting for other, successful head coaches. Now, he's recruiting against coaches that are negatively recruiting against him using every mistake that he makes. There's ammo there and you better damn well believe they're using it at every turn.

That's true. Nobody had a clue how easy the schedule would be prior to the start of the season, but after the season was over, that's a different story.

Is it O's fault the schedule was what it was/??? NO,,, FACT....

Again, that's true. It isn't o's fault that the schedule "was what it was." However, it is his fault that we lost 4 games.... FACT....

I get Where you’re coming from. It isn’t Os fault the schedule was weak but that just means you have to win the big games, and he didn’t win enough of those.

You keep bringing this up about what we thought before the season, but I've yet to see an explanation. What difference does it make what we thought in the preseason?

If you buy a stock that you think is gonna pay off that doesn't, do you hear anyone say "Oh well, when you bought it, we thought it was gonna take off?"

Ok lets put it this way... O lost 4 games... Two he should have won.. ND and Troy.... But at the same time Miles lovers will look for anything they can to tear down anything positive he has done.....

Yet its NOT O's fault that other schools fired their coach and other teams had crappy years... His biggerst problem is that BAMA has shut him down both times they played....

And no one is saying it's his fault those things happened. The fact is that those teams were in that position to need to fire their coaches.

it has been explained to that retard at least 40 times.

no one is blaming O for the weak schedule.we are blaming him for losing 4 games while playing such a weak schedule.

peej is just a dumbass. i bet he has no where near a triple digit iq.

Miss St and Troy were not historic losses. State was a good team and matched up really well against us. It just seems to me that Aranda gets a pass but O never does.

You're just splitting hairs on word meanings at this point in an attempt to polish your weak argument. The 31 point blowout was the biggest win for Miss state against LSU in the match ups history. Aranda doesn't get a pass and neither does Canada's offense for only scoring 7 points.

The team grades in all 3 phases were F's with the coaching staff getting an F-. All of this falls squarely on the shoulders of the highest paid head man in the program.

quote:

Troy was a bad loss, but not historic. Had they finished 1-10, that would be historic. They caught us at the right time. No one is happy about these losses.

You can split hairs all day on word meanings if you like but any attempt to lessen the blow that the program took from this loss is meaningless.

quote:

I guess people hear/see what they want. Right? I hear O praise his coaches and players FAR MORE than less Miles ever did. Does he call people out. Yep... when they need it. But he's also the first person there to offer praise when corrections are made. That's good leadership.

Just Stop

quote:

Do you make the same posts when Will Wade calls out his players?. .and it does it far more often than O. Please link me to the posts where you have called him out?

Will Wade is a 35 year old coach who has over 100 wins in his short 5 year head coaching career. He came to LSU with a .794% winning pt and he left the last two programs where he coached in better condition than when he arrived.

Wade is a proven winner who increased wins for LSU by almost 30% with a talentless roster. What he's doing as a head coach is clearly working.

Orgeron is a proven failure who struggled greatly in his first season just to maintain the continuity of the program.

quote:

It's absolutely mind boggling.... the iq of this board. UNREAL

What's mind boggling is posters like yourself who continue to compare Orgeron to all of these other "highly successful" coaches.

If you continue to insist that Orgeron deserves the benefit of the doubt that other highly successful coaches have earned, then we'll continue to disagree.
