Man, I like Skip Bertman, and I feel that he's a legend, but I'm not sure he'd win nearly as much these days as he did back in 90s.
And he was/is as much of an a-hole to his players as CPM ever was.

I agree, more teams are genuinely invested in baseball these days. Not a lot more, and certainly not near as many relative to the big two sports, but more than were in Skips day for sure.
It would be tougher. I agree.

Ell- why are you so whinny. You are just mad that CPM left Krob off the CWS roster. I know for fact he was a 100% healthy - Paul just did not show Krob any love.
