His best physical attribute, but you could count on 1 hand how many times he actually took advantage of it in 3 years. He's not a dog--he's just not aggressive to go take the goddamn ball like it's his.

a high character guy.
This seems absolutely true. Heard nothing but great things about him personally. Seems like a very bright kid. I guess I--and maybe scouts, apparently--question how much he loves football. Or even likes it. It was hard to tell.

He made a really poor decision.
Maybe, but unless a huge light turned on in his head, he was likely to get passed up by the more athletic and hungry guys snapping at his heels.
I hate ragging on him. I hope he lands in a great situation with a great WR in front of him who can teach him how to a professional. Football may not even be his lifelong dream, but he can be good enough to stick around long enough, make some millions, and set himself up for the next chapter of his life. Good luck to him. That's a geaux tigers.

Until he comes back and tears an ACL. So what if he wasn't drafted high. If he proves himself on a rookie contract he'll get his in a few years. Some of our fans are just upset he's not here anymore. Were probably praying he wasn't drafted so you can feel good about validating you disagreement with "his" choice.
Either way, he'll still be richer that 99% of this board come today. So if helping himself and his family was his goal, he will do that.

Right because Danny Etling can really light shite on fire
2016 LSU vs Texas A&M
Brandon Harris= 7/21 83 yards, 0 td 1 int. QBR= 13.8
2017 LSU vs Texas A&M
Danny Etling= 20/28 324 yards, 2 td 0 int. QBR= 93.8
Yeah, there is no difference at all.

Sadly, I think the Louisville game was the deciding factor for him. I thought he definitely needed to come back. He could have made a lot more money.
He was a few yards shy of 600 receiving yards last season. He just isn't ready.
14 receivers have been picked so far with 10 or so receiving a higher draft grade than him still left on the board.
I still think he'll be drafted, but he could have potentially made a lot more had he stayed one more season.

You are right, but no 1 on here knows why he did what he did, I am sure he was given a stay in school grade, but he didn't take that advice...
All we can do is wish him luck and thank him for being a Tiger...

Yeah - I can't imagine him lining up against Talib or catching one around Kam Chancellor

He killed it in that bowl game, but I couldn't help but wonder where that level of performance had been for the last couple of years?
That was probably the first question during interviews with teams. And there's no good way to answer that...if he throws QBs or coaches under the bus, it looks bad (although obviously there is a degree of truth to it).

Players in the past have acknowledged that pro teams in interviews recognize the lack of utilization of talent.

He had a good bowl game but underachieved at LSU. Should have stayed. Good luck to him though.
This. And he didn't want to compete, IMHO. That won't play well in the NFL.

Dupre did underachieve considering his 5* status but I'm praying that he gets a spot somewhere. I won't dog the kid like so many are because Im thankful that he and so many other kids chose to be Tigers when every school in the country wanted them. Keep your head up Chi it's coming!

Should have graduated and transferred with BH.

I think right coaching is what he needs. So he might have made the right call.
My biggest concerns are catching in traffic, and being able to get of Los when jammed.
I think right situation he will thrive. If he is available for saints would absolutely grab.

Bad hands, not physical.

So a guy who played lazy half the time, couldn't break press coverage, and dropped half the passes thrown his way is Les Miles fault. Some of you are so stupid!!!!
The only problem I saw was while Dupre was doing this he was always on the field, other players didn't get a chance to play. Heck I didn't even know who Gage was until I saw him play last year, I think he dropped his first pass then caught everything thrown to him.
Dupre may have worked harder if he saw other players
playing his snaps and producing. If Miles had a fault
it was not getting all his talented players on the field.

Dupre will be a poor man's Terrance Toliver. He'll go undrafted, make a practice squad, bounce around for a year or 3 and then end up in Canada doing the same thing.
