"The legend of Kevin Durant started long before his college career"

Hilarious. So college coaches were molding players to be like a high schooler?

but he was supposed to be another Tyrus Thomas with shot blockin, rebounding and speed out on the wings in fast breaks for breakaway dunks, and Brady failed him bad into developing into that

So Rolle has a herniated disc and a selfish attitude, but Brady "failed him bad in developing him as another Tyrus Thomas? Has Rick Barnes failed his players by not developing them into the next Kevin Durant?

Tiger 20 your an idiot... The paint extends to the free throw line goof... Rolle used to take 12 to 15 foot shots from there with people b/w him and the bucket, facing hoop like k g, as mentioned in the article. He just bricked them all the time...

Little diff than layups in the paint, and now he hits shots from 18 ft consistent... Also not a layup, you dnt know squat about basketball so stop posting about it....

Rolle sucked at lsu, but obviously someone else helped him get better...

And with t johnson and the use of chris johnson, we had no one else that year, c johnson was our center, and he played out of position the whole year...

Noone said brady failed rolle, he failed lsu, thats why we fricking fired his arse halfway through a basketball season... Rolle jumped ship, quit hatin on him because he made it the nba through another school... Probly would have made it playn here at lsu for t johnson too, we would have had him for year we won sec... Tamin, chris johnson, and rolle down low would have def gave us wayyyy better chance to upset unc in ncaas that year, we didnt have the bodies, and only two bigs, one undersized in tasmin....

Honestly brady himself probably wished rolle hadnt left, he could have used him the year he got canned, taz was hurt, but we wouldve had rolle, a. randolph, c johnson and marcus thorton and spencer...

Brady doesn't develop players, Rolle was right on that although Rolle was soft like I said. Brady may have been good at recruiting some of those guys especially with the Temple pipeline feeding him players, but they all left LSU raw.

Stromile Swift
Brandon Bass
Big Baby
Tyrus Thomas
Garette Temple partially

I could go on and on, and before you say 3 of them were SEC Player of the year, they won that on their own raw talent. Rolle's herniated disc and all that BS like some poster said is just excuses as normal, Brady was a lousy coach.

Ps tiger 20, dont compare brady and rolle and banes from texas and his development of texas players, because barnes is a good college bball coach who has texas in the ncaa tourney often... Oh and I beleive he has not been canned by the same school he lead to the final four, two years previous...

Tj has the program headed in the right direction, and is a basketball junkie, with good coaching skills and a former poit guard. He knows how to run a team and coach and has had three diff teams in ncaa tourney. Im just worried about his recruiting ability, the college basketball world today is ver flashy, and t johnson is an system/fundamental basketball coach. Brady pulled in some studs somehow, and Tj needs to do the same.

I wont forget what brady did for lsu, he came here whne the program was dead and noone would coach us, weathered through the years without scholarships and even managed to accumulate enough talent to have decent squads, a few
tourney teams, and a sweet 16, and final four... Honestly I give him a lot of credit for that...

But brady got cocky and comfortable here, he did run off both Kentrell Gransbury and Rolle, both players who we could have benfited from having on our squad after they left...

Tiger20 give lsu athletic department the credit for recognizing this and makimg the right move in cannin his arse...t johnson took the team brady got fired with, except brady had randolph an nba first rounder and t johnson had mitchel, whom he smartly moved to pf that year giving us extra points and a player in the post who really knows how to play the position although extremely undersized...

Hopefully t johnsom can recruit like brady and lsu bball will be alright...

Ps if you ever thought terry martin was any good your a basketball homer... Brady tried make him our go to guy, even tried him at point guard, when he sucked and couldnt dribble or pass... That kid should have been encouraged to fire threes only, he was a role player only, and he barely saw the floor with tj, other than as a back up who could potentially drill a few threes if and when he played
