Yeah at Center, which is a position that relies on leverage, low pad level, a strong base, and strength. Pocic is 6'7. He'd be 1 of the tallest, if not the tallest, center in the NFL. Being that tall as a Center actually makes it tougher to play the position due to pad height and leverage and all that. And Pocic still was our best lineman and played at a high level.

And we think he's our best option at LT because he has great size, length, athleticism, footwork, and skill set that you want in your LT. Some NFL scouts think he's best suited as an OT as well.

Who do you think is our best option at LT then? It's not like we have a pletora of guys that have seen tha rmany snaps at LT.

Truth is we have a lot of guys capable of playing guard, but no proven tackle on the team. Imo Pocic or Malone are the two best bets at tackle, but they love Pocic at c and Malone was moved inside.

The reason I bring this thread up is because I'm pretty sure Miles said during one of the spring practices that Teuhema is the LT right now definitely. Not sure if it means anything but he's stuck by it so far.

Why does Dodd get no respect at center? I thought the guy played well the last two years when he had an opportunity. I know they have tried Clapp at center in the past but Dodd was the backup this past year and he worked exclusively with the ones in the spring, never heard them talk about Clapp getting any work there this spring. So if Pocic is going to move, why not Dodd at center? If Boutte and Brumfield aren't tearing it up at guard, is it better to play Clapp at center with one of them starting instead of Dodd starting and Clapp staying at guard?

Clapp was out all spring. I just don't think Dodd will ever be nothing more than a back up. I like the kid but it is what it is. To many guys in front of him. Clapp will be the center until he leaves.

LT - Pocic 6'7 310
LG - Teuhema 6'5 330
C - Clapp 6'5 305
RG - Boutte 6'5 345
RT - Weathersby 6'5 300

This is my starting line up to start the year. Boutte and Weathersby would be watched very closely. If either fail, then the next up will be Malone, Brumfield, Campbell. Okeke will be right there in the mix. He will be a stud before leaving here.

Okeke is an athletic freak, but he's still learning how to translate it into power. I saw him get stood up at times against the second string. I say he won't start until next year at least
