Ya know, just think about this, if Danny hadn't snooped around for news to bash against the Beavers, Luke would be the 1st pick of the MLB 2018 draft. He would be getting endorsed left and right by companies as the most praised ace pitcher from Oregon State! And a gem among of the MLB pitchers. Yeah Luke's past could possibly be brought up later by a reporter snooping around looking for dirt, but hey, Luke would have been a 1st round pick for sure if Danny Moran hadn't been looking for something to stab against the beavers baseball. Sooo... Luke seriously needs to sue the hell outta Danny Moran and the damn Oregonian!!
So this guys thinks it's the reporters fault...Geez

While it’s great he went undrafted, I feel like the fact that he is a junior this year and will be returning to OSU next year is being lost on everyone. And since this is an LSU board, we should talk about how it affects LSU. In this case, not well.

I ran across THIS on Chris Blair's twitter this morning. It is concise, succinct, and blunt. From reporter Jay Walker at ESPN 1420

I wanted to see if Heimlich's Maneuver would succeed...
[snip]His statement did garner some sympathy. Mostly, it was from Oregon State fans who were now able to begin to justify why they stood and cheered him every time he took the mound.
I wondered how Major League Baseball would react.

It's not surprising and just reinforces what most of the world thinks of the American South. Mouth-breathing, uneducated, swamp-arse rednecks with very little cognitive ability.
Yea, well we aren't the ones defending a child molester because he makes our baseball team better. That is you.

What is righteous indignation about him pleading guilty?? What am I missing?? He said he did it for God’s sake. Some people are pure dumb asses, and yes, I talking about you. Take him at his word-he molested his 6 year old niece-he’s pure trash. You know how I know that?? Because he said he did it. For fricks sake-do you even have any sort of education??

I am intrigued by the "he has paid his dues" argument. I live in Atlanta and there was a vocal narrative here of "Michael Vick did his time in jail, he deserves to be a quarterback in the NFL". In my opinion, if you pay taxes then society owes you fire, police and military protection and a place for your kids to go to school. Otherwise, society, sports fans, team owners and leagues really don't owe anybody anything. I cherish our right to choose and applaud the MLB for exercising that right. nobody owes this kid anything.
