re: LSU’s offense isn’t a talent problem — it’s a sequencing/self-scout problem (receipts)

Is it possible Sloan's playcalling is so predictable because Nuss needs it to be? Nuss doesn't seem to be able to think on his feet. As a matter of fact, he overthinks. Maybe the predictability is for the purpose of speeding up Nuss's decision making.

That doesn't matter. Even on thus board of purple and gold glasses 90% of people know it was the right call. If it wasn't, that would be the sole item of discussion.

Well said. The playcalling is atrocious, especially on second down.

When everyone in the stadium knows the play, it's time to get a new offensive staff.

Dude, I don’t know who you are, but this is damn impressive. Numbers don’t lie and statistics/probabilities can bring problem areas to light. Similarly, they can show you what works, what doesn’t, and where efforts should be focused to correct the things that simply aren’t working. Love this.
Can you print out a few copies of this and slide them under BK and Sloan’s office doors? Include a note that says “Complementary football…maybe? But try incorporating this into your game plan prep instead.”

The OP is some of the most incredible analysis I've ever seen on the rant. Having said that, it's still incomplete because it doesn't account for player mistakes hindering the offense
After the OM game, BK said almost word for word what I said after the florida game - it isn't any one thing. It's everything. One play it's a WR drop. The next play Nuss misfires. The next play Caden fumbles. The next play the o line misses an assignment. It's something different on almost every play and for some reason, the coaches can't get the players to be synchronized, even part of the time.
Acknowledging the player mistakes goes right along with the OP, if the players could get synced up, the playcalling wouldn't be nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. Oddly enough, it would also vindicate what BK is saying - the coaches are definitely putting the players in a position to succeed. They just aren't executing what's been called and probably what they've practiced. I'm not saying BK/sloan are without fault. But the criticism of them is overblown

I don’t think anyone thinks it is a talent problem, to be fair.
