re: LSU’s offense isn’t a talent problem — it’s a sequencing/self-scout problem (receipts)

Is it possible Sloan's playcalling is so predictable because Nuss needs it to be? Nuss doesn't seem to be able to think on his feet. As a matter of fact, he overthinks. Maybe the predictability is for the purpose of speeding up Nuss's decision making.

re: Describe your view of feminism

It's a vicious cycle. Dumb down or completely circumvent the educational system, then completely fail at critical thinking.
Feminism at the beginning was concerned with validating women's work in the home. Unfortunately, feminism did not address the underlying issue, which is the failure to treat women simply as people. The stereotyping of women's capabilities, illustrated in the broad statements in this thread alone, is the real problem.

re: Colonoscopies. Yes or no?

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I created an account just for the purpose of encouraging you to get the colonoscopy.
I had my first at 58 and it turned out I had colon cancer. Luckily, it was only stage 2. It had eaten through 3 of the 4 layers of the colon, but hadn't gotten in my lymph nodes or metasticized. They removed part of my colon and prescribed 6 rounds of chemotherapy. I had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago and I'm all clear now.
Colon cancer is affecting younger individuals and a colonoscopy is a small price to pay for prevention.
