LSU’s new nutritional center cost 12 million bucks, here’s some buyouts

Matt Canada Buyout - 1.5 Million
Les Miles Buyout- 9.7 Million
Cam Cameron Buyout- 1 million
Craig/Juluke Buyous- just under 1 million
Total of those buyouts- 13.2 Million +/- 250k
Who the fuch is in charge on Nicholson?
I wonder what else we could have built instead of paying guys not to be here.
ETA: I’m not complaining about the cost of the project. I’m saying- imagine the other upgrades that we could have if Alleva wasn’t so shitty at his job.
Don’t worry about it though, Joe will just sell some more advertising and add another fee.

Just disgusting.
Alleva is a pussy though and couldn't negotiate himself out of a wet paper bag.

Have you seen O’s contract?
Alleva took the Herman offer and changed the name then changed the salary from 5.5 to 3.5.
Gross Negligence imho. Can’t wait for his contract to expire.
I find it ironic that he has paid close to 15 million in buyouts, yet he won’t get shite.

The money for this project has been donated a while back so it is not coming out of any budget and no need to get your Pink Panties in a wad.

And this is why O won’t be fired for 6-6 unless it’s for cause. He would have to have an epically trainwrecked season to get shite-canned. And not just because we’d be adding more money to the buyout, but because we’d be firing coaches too quickly without losing seasons. And we’d still have to hire another HC and staff? We couldn’t get at least our top 2 choices last time. Who’s gonna wanna come here when despite winning over 100 games, a national championship, a national runner up, 2 SEC Championships, your worst season out of 11 was 8-5, you get unceremoniously shite-canned after only 4 games for losing 2 close games to 2 teams who turned out to be pretty damn good? And replacement gets shite-canned after going 6-2, 9-4, and 6-6? Not a lot of job stability/security for a guy you’re likely asking to leave a pretty good gig he’s already got and to uproot his and his staff’s entire families.
This was always my biggest fear with Orgeron. I don’t think he’s good enough to win championships in the 2018 SEC(although I like our staff and I think that’s more important than the HC on Saturdays—I think head coaches have more impact Sunday through Friday), but I think he recruits too well and is a good enough motivator that the wheels won’t totally fall off bad enough to justify firing him. The worst thing would be to stay 9-4 for perpetuity. We’ll see. Maybe he’ll surprise me one way or the other. But I can’t really fathom a likely scenario where he shots the bed so bad he gets fired after this season. Our coaches and players are just too good to let the bottom fall completely out.

You do understand that he’s not complaining about the project, right?
I know you’re an O supporter, so you’re likely somewhat mentally slow. I want to help you out. Take a deep breath, and read the OP again.

Nutritional center was raised private funding. Did not come from TAF or money made from athletics.

His buyout is $5.27 million or around that number on December 1, 2018. They will shite can him at that number IMO.

Hey dip shite, this nutrition center is critical. Check out the link below, Bama just built a $14 million center. If we don't keep up with these type facilities we will be left behind.

ETA: The only buyout that is egregious is Les', but due to the landscape of college football coaches salaries, its actually pretty normal. So, I don't think Alleva is good at his job making personnel hiring/firing decisions, he's actually ok with finances.

Does anyone know how much attendance and/or season ticket renewals dropped over the past couple of years? $5.27M is a lot, but is roughly 5K season tickets. I sincerely don’t want it to happen, but if this season goes south and what was supposed to be the best recruiting haul in quite a while falls apart, I can see an exodus growing.

For that price Les should be made to come to LSU everyday and sit behind a desk and do nothing, or maybe clean out the bathrooms. Not sit home.

Maybe if you put your complete thought the first time you posted then we all could understand your point and respond accordingly instead of editing and adding

Please elaborate on how? Financially LSU has one of the most profitable athletic programs in all of the NCAA. So, saying alleva is ok financially is retarded how?
I don’t like Alleva, but you have to give credit where it is due, Unless there is something I’m completely unaware of.
