This is mostly information on the LSU vs. a&m game, however, the game shows so many examples of corruption in college football as a lot of this has been going on in many other games with many other teams for quite some time now...

LSU strength of schedule, strength of record, and CFP ranking "was" a big "cog in the wheel" for the CFP, however it is interesting that with a loss to a&m, LSU dropped 4 spots in the AP and 6 spots in the Coaches Poll. Meanwhile, a&m after their "huge" win didn't move from #22 in both AP and Coaches poll. That to me is just more proof of corruption. I mean LSU drops big time and a&m just stays still. Does that seem correct to anyone. More proof of the total manipulation of the CFP, and not just this game but many others... I am not angry, I am just disappointed that what I would have considered purity of football is obviously no better than the NFL, or any other big pro sport.

1) The rule on the field was Interception and yes Mond's knee did touch for a second, but he in no way had possession at that point. Sure if you literally stop the video on that one frame of the video, it could look as if, "Oh his knee was down", which is exactly what the review and refs did. Replay manipulation(1st LSU Game Winner).

2) The 4th and 18 catch for a&m was on the other side of the first down marker by a half to whole yard and the refs didn't even review the spot or bring the chains out. Which is all meant to provide due diligence to get the correct call and that was definitely short of the first down(2nd LSU Game Winner).

3) The spike with 3 seconds closed out time in the game, yet somehow the clock the refs show has 1 second left where if you see during the live play the clock hits 0 right before or at the same time the ball actually hit the ground, definitely not after.(3rd LSU Game Winner).

4) There was more than one issue with OT, but the biggest was the catch, two feet down, turning forward(making a football move), with a nice hit jarring the ball lose for a fumble recovered by LSU(4th LSU Game Winner).

Who knows how many times LSU actually beat a&m before a&m eventually got their first win(Which is also a&m's first win against LSU since a&m joined the SEC). Oh and the way someone compared Kentucky's premature Gatorade bath "The Bluegrass Miracle", to the bath Coach O got. The biggest difference being, LSU actually had time on the clock for one more play and a&m needed 2 ref reviews(knee down and time is up) and 1 non-review on the 4th and 18 catch, to give a&m one more shot to send to OT. Even if a&m had not scored the TD, another penalty would have been called.

After the just overwhelming evidence that a&m lost 4+ times before they won, everyone else in the country knows, including a&m's honest fans, the outcome of the game was horrible for college football for everyone. It just gives us more proof of how "The People's" pure college football is so manipulated by the political influence, money, promotions, refs, even the kickoff time(Morning, Afternoon, or Night) i.e. knowing which teams thrive during morning, afternoon and evening games, and of course the marriage of NCAA, ESPN, SEC Network, and certain "Storied" programs.

Speaking as a college football fan and being totally objective, that is just one of the many games that is turning me and many other people off college football. It they aren't careful, college football will lose more fans as it has already began losing viewers.

You’ve got to move on or you’ll drive yourself nuts.

The entire officiating system is antiquated and needs an overhaul. Use some of the principles in replay and apply them to major penalties and that would be an improvement.

In other words, more interaction between a non-bias person in the “booth” and the idiots on the field.

The ESPN yellow line was wrong.

Here's where the yellow line is on 4th down.

Here's where the yard markers were on 3rd & 18, the play just before, when Delpit broke it up over the middle.

Your husband should explain to you that the yellow lines on TV are not official.

We all thought this watching the game live on TV. But its already been shown that ESPN had the yellow line on the wrong spot. A&M needed to get to the LSU 43 but the yellow line was misplaced on the LSU 41. They got the first down clearly by a yard. I agree with you on the rest

Part or all of what you say may be true, I watched the game on my phone on a trip home from Colorado. But for me, this game should have been won in regulation by a couple of TD's or more. LSU had 4, 3 & out's and 1, 5 & out. Our offense stinks and it has all year, sometimes more than others. Scheme, playcalling whatever. There is no excuse for it what so ever.
