I'm not sure why this was directed at me, but I'm impressed that you can post on tigerdroppings while steering a lawnmower.

Once again, only fans give a frick about NC's 10+ years ago, not coaches or players. You're username is LSUBaseball, yet you seem to be so oblivious to the current state of affairs. I'm sorry to break it to you, but State has the better coach, soon to be better stadium, and the best fan support in the country with the brighter future. If you can't see this, than I can't help you.
You are correct in a few things as MSU certainly has the coach and momentum as a a program now.
But the fan support and resources still favor LSU, as do the facilities overall. Undoubtedly, LSU will answer with upgrades to at least be on par with MSU.
But, you are 100% wrong in that championships and tradition absolutely DOES matter. That in itself will always make a difference in a recruits eyes. Players understand that there will be "hot" programs at any given time. But they also understand history and support and consistency are more important.

Would you expect him to say anything else? I don't know if AC would come to LSU or not....and neither do you dumbass...but I wouldn't want to bet my life on it.

You realize we're #10 rn...take a lap

Y'all average roughly 1,000 more fans than us in a city that outpopulates Starkville by over 230,000 people. Y'all have no excuse to not sell out every SEC series.

So? It's comical that you think you've actually achieved anything thus far in the season. You're acting like MSU has arrived. We've played as bad as we can possibly play and are still only 3 games behind ya'll. what does that tell you?
Posted on 4/26/17 at 2:51 pm to RedTigerRulz
Backtracking, there you go lol. We have like 8 pitchers on our roster and two of them are position players and we're still 3 games ahead of you. What does THAT tell you?

Why argue with a cowbell fan...it's pointless & degrading for LSU fans to be arguing with any of the little leg humpers, about anything...
GEAUX TIGERS...
GEAUX TIGERS...

Yeah, I don't know why I'm engaging in these trivial discussions. I need to let current standings do the talking.

Hey BobLeeDagger:
Got a question for ya!
Do you know if Andy and the other coaches at State have bonuses in their contract when they get players to commit and actually show up to MSU to play for four years!
If not they should it's gotta be almost impossible to get kids to show up for four years in Starkville. "A place with no atmospher, and where the beauty parlor only gives estimates" Stanley "Skip" Bertman!

Thoughts?
back for this season.

Damn, you can't even troll well, much less defend an argument. Smgdh.

I'd throw the bank at the Coastal Carolina coach. He's built a great program over there. He's coming off a national championship and he's turned them into a top 10 team in wins over the last decade. With LSU's resources, he could really be special

Actually y'all average just over 6,000 a game. We average over 10,000 a game. I know math is hard from someone from Mississippi, but it's more like 4,000 a GAME.

Both of these wouldn't leave where they are now for LSU

if and when CPM is gone your not getting someone who is established at a place that is already set up to win national championships

Sullivan has had arguabley the most talent in baseball since 2010 and has nothing to show for it.
this is what's frustrating. mainieri defenders say national championships are unreasonable but then criticize other coaches for not winning them. o'sullivan is definitely in the top 5, maybe the top 2 of college baseball. he's DEFINITELY getting it done at the highest level. mainieri can hardly make it there, much less win a game there.

I can assure you that we could match any offer y'all threw at him.
quote:lsu can significantly outbid state in ways other than official salary. lsu's athletic budget is in the top 10 in the nation. up there with florida, ohio state, michigan, texas, etc.
This isnt football, coaches salaries in baseball are not based on market value such as football.
