LSU's Blockparty Tailgate took spots away from long time fans for this:

I think it's important for LSU to see what they turned that area into. It was the same way for UGA. Yes, our spot was taken away and this is what we walked back to after the game. Thanks Joe.

Meh. I went to a tailgate in that area and thought it was fine. Easily 95% LSU fans.
I think the idea is good, but they need to scale down the size of the space and give some of the area back to the regular tailgating people

Not on our side. The entire section along that walkway had mostly Bama tents.

UGA and Bama were the only two games they they even used the whole area. For all the other games they had maybe 20-40 tents out there and most of the area was just fenced off for no one to use. LSU leased them the space so they got their money up front before the season. They don't give a shite how Blockparty runs their operation.

It is 100% about the money. They could care less if the team is a contender so long as the money is good.

Yep, I saw that also.
We've tailgated just up S.Stadium (closer to Tower Dr.) for the past 20 years.
We've been hearing that it will be expanding into our area in the future. That's when I will be done w/ tailgating.
