Clemson skill position talent was clearly a knotch below LSUs.

LSU made two of the best offenses in the country look average. Or in OU's case just flat out terrible.

The talent was always there. The focus and/or effort was up and down until after the Ole Miss game. They must've had a come to Jesus meeting after that because they were a force from that point on.

Obviously this team will always be remembered for their offense but the D was GREAT when they had to be.
