If anyone is actually offended by students shouting obscenities I'd be surprised. As a former LSU student, who has in the past shouted obscenities at a game, as well as a European who has been to a lot of soccer games, I can assure you that the student section is massively tame compared to most soccer stadiums in Europe. I would think that scaring the students would help destroy the atmosphere within the student section. Everyone has been complaining about the student section this year. Surely this would make it worse!

I resorted to calling you stupid after seeing endless amounts of posts by you saying the same stupid thing over and over again. Shows your intelligence.
The band is nothing more than a filler. It's job it to keep people entertained between snaps and timeouts. Hell if the students didn't chant, the song would be just another song. 90% of fans don't even know there's a real chant.

I think it would be cool to see, but probably never happen. The students can't even all clap together. Getting all the students to sit in silence would be difficult if not impossible.
