First off, another outstanding response from the village idiot. Secondly, no shite you are free to hit him. Just don't be surprised when you end up in jail and also have a civil suit filed against you.

I am just amazed that you and Red don't understand how him calling you names doesn't make him a hypocrite.

Here's an idea. Y'all know how the student section always yells "kick their arse!" for the first down cheer while the rest of the crowd yells "LSU!"? Why not give this song the same treatment, drown out the idiots.

I never stated that him calling me a name makes him a hypocrite. He is a hypocrite for stating something and then engaging in an argument to the exact opposite. Also, for expecting that everyone should acknowledge and respect his opinion when he dismissed everyone elses point of view. Perhaps you should look up the definition also.

You are literally too stupid to talk to.

I think that it is more likely that you are too stupid to understand what I am saying so you are trying to cover for you lack of intelligence. Don't blame others for your inadequacies.
And please point out one statement that you quoted that is incorrect with an example. I can and have pointed to plenty of examples.

I'm not the one with the reading comprehension issues.

Yes, you very much are. However, please point out one statement that you quoted that is incorrect with an example. I can and have pointed to plenty of examples.

quote:My opinion is the kind of opinion that people like James Madison like to see legitimized. The opinion that language should be policed in the fashion suggested in this thread is the kind of opinion that other types of world leaders like to see legitimized. I'd actually name these world leaders, but you would misinterpret the purpose of the analogy and then say something like "You're equating concerned mothers with Nazis?" to which I would reply "I would NEVER insult Nazis like that."
Also, for expecting that everyone should acknowledge and respect his opinion when he dismissed everyone elses point of view.
My opinion that people should speak freely is morally sound. The opinion that language should be policed in the student section by surveillance cameras is sick, evil, hypocritical, and extremely morally reprehensible and not to be legitimized, therefore, by my showing it any respect whatsoever.
Like I said in an ANALOGY: I never negotiate with terrorists.

You should practice making coherent sentences.

They may make sense in your mind, but that doesn't make you right.

You have chosen to ignore what I stated earlier:
quote:
I said they shouldn't do this. I never said that they shouldn't be able to. I've not questioned the University's right to police its events; I am not, therefore, the hypocrite you called me. You attributed to me an argument I never made.
If you are claiming that they shouldn't do this, then you are indeed the hypocrite that I am stating because you did state on 10/17:
quote:
Those who have no current active affiliation with the University can learn to mind their own business and let the University police itself.
This reversal is what makes you a hypocrite.

It is that this is a university event, not a public event, and they can regulate it how they wish to. Freedom of speech doesn't apply here anyway. Just because you disagree with how the university chooses to handle this doesn't mean that they should do differently.

Ok, in a public event or area. This is not.

Again, absurd analogy. This has nothing to do with terrorists, terrorist behavior, or anything like terrorist behavior. You should try to make an analogy that would make sense.

Sorry that I missed a comma and you are incapable of understanding without that much needed comma.
BTW, are you the grammar police now?
