LSU would likely be in the CFP if season ended today

We will likely go to 11th. Every P4 conference leader is in the Top 10. South Florida or Memphis would join as the highest G5 team despite unranked (that really should go as we all know they're hopeless). LSU would be the lowest seed playing at OU likely round 1.

This will obviously shake up a ton. Especially considering Ole Miss, TAMU, nor OU have yet to play a Top 12 SEC team on the road. Top 12 as in just the top 12 of 16 SEC teams, not AP Top 12. They'll end up losing those.

This season has seemingly more losses than last year at this point. Meaning the best 9-3 SEC team has a chance.

I’m seeing things the same way. Projection: just win at home. Don’t get upset on the road. That would be enough for the CFP.

Yeah, but I feel 100% sure this Kelly-coached LSU club cannot finish 10 & 2, and I’m not ready to dream of scenarios whereby 9 & 3 yields a playoff berth; therefore I refuse to acknowledge where we’d be “if season ended today.” I don’t even feel good about 8 & 4 this season under Kelly. Our defense is stellar, but Kelly and Sloan and others have done a horrific job running our offense and are too foolish to insert MVB when need be. frick Kelly.

Lol let’s get through the next few games. The offense will have to do an entire 180 just to have a chance at 10-2.

That actually matters so much. Thanks for bringing it up.

If the college football playoffs started before the season began LSU would have been in the playoffs.
