JJ and JL may be the 2 worst SEC QB's over their 5 years there.

So a team that has the 2 worst SEC QBs over their 5 years there beat the gumps in their own house?

They didn't quit. They dedicated themselves to moving backwards and they succeeded.

Bama fans, if you have better players and better coaching then why do we keep beating yall?

I haven't criticized CLM once this year. Saban got out coached 2 yrs running. Les's game plan was perfect. Keep it simple and punt for field position. Plays perfectly to your strengths. Saban outwitted himself when we got to the 20's and got backed up out of FG range. I'm wondering what CLM does this time. Keep it the same or go back to the mad hatter routine with planned crazy?

That will lead to a lot of sleepless nights for Saban want it?

What does the Mad Hatter do? Triple option? Spread option? No telling. Our advantage.

You think you won the game on QB play?

We won the game in spite of out QB's. JJ always plays well in bowl games. Scary for you.

I think you guys lost the last game on QB play. Goofball McCarron was mighty quick to assume the fetal position on that last play... full retard was full scared.

Based on these Bama fans' comments you'd think they won the first game or something. did i step in a time machine because this is the same bullshite i heard last game, and none of it mattered. they still lost...at night....at home. good luck in a psuedo away game january 9th, i'm sure that will bode much better for alabama

I'm not sure Bama wore down in the 4th quarter. They outgained LSU in that qtr. LSU got the option going and that was the difference. Bama didn't adjust well.

It's clear we watched different games.

AJ had his worst game of the year considering how open our receivers were. I'm not sure I'd blame it all on him though. I do think he can win the next one with just decent play.

The game in T-town went about like I thought. We won the offensive and defensive battle. But we got out coached. Les had a better strategy and got A LOT more out of his opportunities than Saban did out of his. Unless he does it again I would expect at 10-14 pt win.

Please explain this in a clearer fashion.

What do you mean by winning the offensive battle - when your offense was pushed back in OT against the LSU D and when your offense couldn't get close enough for even a decent field goal attempt 4 out of 6 times to win it in regulation.

What do you mean by winning the defensive battle
- when the LSU offense QBed by JJ/JL managed to get into your red zone thrice and
- scored in OT as well?

You were right about one thing - miles did do an excellent job of preparation / coaching before and during the game.

Bama held up much longer than I thought they would last game, well into the 4th quarter. But they were gassed in OT.

Our 2 interceptions contributed to that. Without those ( and if JJ starts the game and we come out running the option and stretch plays to the sideline ) their D is sucking wind by early 3rd Qtr.

That was the one reason I wasn't as worried as some about the SEC Championship game. The commentators kept talking about the great size an strength of the GA front 7. Well, thats great UNTIL you play a team like LSU that has great conditioning to play hard for 60+ minutes and won't hesitate to blast you with the power running game in the 2nd half when your "big and strong" DLinemen and LB's are hunched over trying to hold in their pregame meal.

I don't know what surprised me more. JL's play early this year or the 2 pick's to us and subsequent fall from grace. I think that new QB coach you have down there is a very good one. That's the one weakness you've had since the 07' team. Les must be counting on JJ's feet to keep you in the game. But I don't think he's going to get away with the option this time any more than you're going to leave Richardson uncovered on the screen play.

I was blown away by Spencer Ware during the Miss St game. I thought he was amazing. But what's happened to him lately? Lacey's had turf toe for most of the season. The first few games he was neck and neck with TR until he got hurt.

The 3-4 defense needs big guys that get double teamed. They actually do the hard work so the LB's can move into the holes unblocked. Its very different from most CFB teams. I don't think you can compare our front 3 to your front 4. Different schemes.
What a load of dribble. Tell me how McCarron is going to get it done.

JJ/JL v BamaD >>>>>>>>>> AJM v LSU D

so you out rushed us with your so-called "vaunted" run game? You had more trips to the red zone? We played nowhere near to our potential as we were ultra conservative. we saw everything you had and still won ON THE ROAD. We will unload everything on you in NOLA.
