The national title was incredible
The year after was a big underachievement (Reese, Morrow, HVL, Flau'jae and can't even make the Final Four), last year was also a dissapointment to not make the Final Four.
Iowa made it to back to back title games. USC and UConn live in the Final Four. Why can't our program make it back? It sure ain't for lack of resources.

Man, when they got HVL and Morrow in the portal, I thought that team would go undefeated.
But yeah, HVL was brought in to play PG and that didn’t work out.
This year, we struck out on all our front court targets. Joyner and Koval were bargain-basement leftovers. Seems it’s always something where we can’t get over the hump.
