These are big boy spins on Hurd's curveball.

For instance, only two MLB players averaged more than 3000rpm on their curveballs last year. I know this isn't Hurd's average, but to even be able to hit that number is big time stuff.

These are his top 5 Fastballs of the day

Hurd has great stuff. Just gotta miss more bats.

Jones stayed on that curveball nicely.

Jones has been solid as can be over there. He's obviously not a Wizard, like Morgan. But he's been everything you hope for from a first baseman.

And to think, a large number of posters want Hurd out of the rotation. We are trotting out 3 legit Friday night guys.

Brown and Bingham aren't going to give you many bad at bats.

Brown can really run too. He is just so poised for a freshman

Nothing juicy, but definitely well placed.

Brown has good wheels but I've never seen a 60 time for him.

Pearson is the sneakiest speed guy on the team having run a 6.51 in HS. Only Kling is faster based on times I have found.

LSU's best teams have always had MLB RHP(s). They need Hurd to be the guy, and they are going to give him a ton of rope.

No doubt. Jay rode his arse like Zorro last year and it paid off in the end.
