LSU vs Texas top ten non conference?

When was the last time LSU played a top ten team non conference team on the road? Saw where we were 0-11 in such situations and cant recall the last time we even played someone in a true road top ten non conference game.

“On the Road” or at the opponents home field? We’ve won a few bowl games and neutral field season openers against top ten non conference.

Notre Dame in 1970 as true road game where both teams ranked top 10 (not including neutral site games)

The last one was at #10 Notre Dame in 1998.

Thank you 81 notre dame was we weren't. That's amazing that this is the first time in almost 40 years we have played in this circumstance!!!
