Alabama wasn’t even as close as Texas was to beating LSU

Cole Cubelic from the SECN was on the SVP show after the championship game and told a story about the SECN team's pre-production meeting with Aranda the week of the Northwestern game after LSU had played Texas the week before. He said Aranda walked in the room, sat down, and said, "Fellas, we can't be what we thought we were going to be — I have to completely redesign this thing."
