With Nutt's current mastery of LSU (similar to what Tuberville had in the late 90s early 2000s) and Ole Miss' unfettering ability to always play their best game of the season against LSU),things are looking more and more bleak each day for the P&G. Bottom line, the Rebels are just too much "in our heads" for this one to be any sort of contest.

I don't think I have seen so many predicted LSU losses to a team of Ole Miss's calibur before. I think people are expecting last night's team to show up in Oxford.

What's that old adage about generals making the mistake of fighting the last war?
When it comes to predictions we seem to be like that. A lot seem to be based on the last game of both teams. Last week when we were slugging it out with Bama and Ole Miss was getting spanked by Auburn people were saying 10-2 like it was a foregone conclusion. This week, since we struggled with La Tech and Ole Miss beat Tennessee lots of people are saying the Rebs will handle the Tigers.
I'm gonna buck the trend and say: LSU 24 Ole Miss 18

The LSU game against Tech was surprising, but not shocking. I was somewhat shocked by Ole Miss's victory over Tennessee. With limited knowledge about their team, I had pretty much written the Rebels off this season. Not anymore.
