I generally consider my prognostications pretty rational and realistic.
That being said this one won't be close.

MSU hangs 34 on this defense? Nope.

37-24. Close for a while. LSU holds back at the end, otherwise it would be 44-24.

Calm down it's just a prediction. I knew you were the one reply though .

I originally had this game as a 7-10 point win by LSU, but after not playing last Saturday, I think these guys will be hungrier than ever to play some football and they are going to take it out on MSU. MSU's week one "practice" will help them keep it close the first half, but once LSU finds its groove, they'll put it away in the second half. All the new weapons and surpises LSU has, that MSU didn't get to observe, will be the deciding advantage.

My prediction from the SEC rant was 35-20 and I won't back down from that.

I'm thinking lower scoring affair, especially for them.

LSU 34 (4 TD's w/ 2 rushing and 2 passing for balance) plus 2 field goals.
MSU 24 (It's 34 17 LSU late and Dak gets a late TD to make it look closer)

LSU Dominates the stats, particularly TOP time of possession with a balanced attack that keeps Dak off the field more than half the game. Best offense is a great defense, but an O that controls the clock wins the majority of games.

Tigahs come out swinging like Ronda Rouse and don't stop till Moo state cries "Uncle" and taps out with 4-5 minutes left.

No nail biter here folks, nothing to look at so move along.

We don't know what our defense will look like. It's all speculation at this point. Look what they did last year and we had the no. 1 defense in SEC.
