Don't know if this has been posted, shows just how crazy the game was.

I’d imagine a number of our games this year have looked exactly like that.

Seriously, my UCLA friend was asking me why I was freaking out early in the 2nd half and I said "we normally dominate the 1st half, then we eventually crash in the 2nd half, then we wake up, and win or force OT in the last few minutes."

It's not a preferable trend, but we do end up winning most of the time.

It's good to know that we have a team that has proven they can respond to adversity. That's what toughness is.

I'd rather the road we've taken as opposed to a team that hasn't really been tested very much prior to the tournament. You don't want to wait this late in the season to find out if your team has "something in the warehouse" to rely on, as Teddy Atlas would say.

Well put, and I agree with you.

There was a season ticket holder function at Loyola Chicago 3 years ago that I attended. The team was on a losing streak in the league and Porter Moser got emotional saying that they were "close". That we should believe in the guys, because they were learning how to win. Many of the key players on that squad were on the Final Four team last year.

I truly believe adversity eventually prepares a team to succeed in March. And we have had plenty adversity this season. Our guys aren't going to be overwhelmed by the moment.

This has been the trend lately but there was about a 10 game stretch in SEC play where we were down at least 8 at half and came back and won
