It seems everybody is just assuming we will lose at Rupp. I think we have a good chance. I'd like to see how y'all think we match up.
Im excited to see us on ESPN on Tuesday night. That's a big deal for recruiting, and it's a great opportunity to get a good seed in March.

I think we are similar in size and length. The difference will be our youth in a very tough building luckily they only have 2 shooters so if we can keep it close we may be able to pull off some magic. I think this will be a lot closer than people expect.

We have played Ky. well before recently. We've won a few too. It should be a good game, but to win we have to hit more of our shots. I don't think we can count on all the put backs we've been getting.

Just a wish
To watch sec now after the game and watch Antoine walkers fat ,should be rich but he's closer to broke arse, crawfish on who's the best team in the sec, or who's the second best.

Sorry for all the posts guys, but I forgot what else I wanted to say.
I was gonna say, don't be surprised if we're number 17 in the country today

Can lsu win? Sure. But, they have lost to the best 2 teams they have played in Houston and FL State. They haven't played anyone like ky yet, let alone get a w. Not to mention it is on the road. It would be a big upset imo. I expect the spread to be around 7.

So, is he wrong? I'd say lsu is currently the third best team in the sec. We will know soon if that's true.

No it's the way he says it.. He's putting us with the others and I think we're in our own tier 2nd tier.
Tier 1 Kentucky Tennessee
Tier 2 LSU
Tier3 Alabama auburn Arkansas south Carolina..... You get the point

And to be honest.... IDK if we're as good as them or not... We may be, we really haven't played anybody to really challenge us for the entire game, in a while..
We're not the same team that played Florida State and Houston... We may be just as good as Tennessee and Kentucky... Over the last 10 games or so, the results have been similar for all three of us.
We're winning against similar teams by similar margins

Most teams have gotten better throughout the season. We have had an easy schedule this far. I'm optimistic, but I've been watching this since 1981. We are much more talented than the teams we have been playing. How many of the teams that we have been beating will make the tourney. 5-3 is a very realistic finish. 6-2 is possible, as is 4-4.

What's funny? Name the better teams we have played?

This X10. It’s basically been our offense. Throw it up and go get it.

Hell I just hope we can defend the 3 a little better.
Seriously though I think a win is possible, not probable but possible. I think we match up well, just have to play smart and not commit ticky tack fouls.

It should be a war on the glass. These are two of the 10 best teams in the nation in offensive rebounding % (LSU is 5 and UK is 7). Both teams want to get to the FT line and are among the top teams in getting tot he line and converting when there. While neither team is great at shooting the 3, UK is much better than LSU. LSU is great at forcing turnovers, but UK is the FAR better defensive team.
Even with a downtick in FG shooting and being average (maybe) on defense, LSU has been able to win games lately simply because they are killing teams on the offensive glass. That's translating to 10-15 more shots per game than they probably should be getting. Most of the times those offensive rebounds are around the goal, so LSU is converting the second chance attempts.
That said, it's unlikely LSU will be able to dominate UK on the glass tomorrow. They are an equally as good rebounding team. Therefore, LSU is probably going to need to have their best defensive game of the season, coupled with an efficient offensive performance. They'll get blown out if they shoot sub 40% like they did vs. Auburn because UK won't allow as many second chance points.
A VERY tall task indeed, but LSU is playing with "house money" because of their wins vs. MSU and Auburn. A loss at UK is very forgivable. This isn't a make or break game for LSU, though at win would be ENORMOUS
