Anyone see that changing this year? I know that one reason it has been a day game is because CBS usually picked it up but it's been a while since that game was played at night.

yeah even go back to like 1997 and after and its half and half at least. but UF hates playing us at night home or away. or at least that was true of the spurrier-zook area.

Here's your SEC slate that day...CBS will have first choice then the rest will probably be in the evening on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or the SEC Network. LSU/UF looks like the game that would have the most national appeal IMO. I say 75% chance CBS takes our game.

You mad? Maybe I should have used the word "often played in the day" or "recently played in the day". We "often play" Arkansas in the day and I see now that we have recently played Fla. three years in a row in the day. Geez.

Humble guess: CBS airs our game the week before at Auburn and then takes that UGA-Mizzou game the week after. But who the hell knows.

Yeah they will but if we beat Aubies they would pick us up again I'm sure especially if UF beats Tenn the week before and has only 1 L to Gumps.
Don't know, have ticket to PM in NOLA that night and also to UF game so will have to decide on one!

Also, think what OP is saying is has been day game 11, 12 and 13 and will that continue to 14, depends!

There is a difference in clarifying my question and arguing. I stand corrected. Tradtionally means long term. I didn't mean that. I get it.

Arkansas was for years. With some games usually falling on the same weeks, alot of the game the same time slots year after year because of TV priority. LSU/UF was a hot night game for a while, now it seems to be LSU/Bama.

To answer the OPs question I think it may come down to Auburn vs Miss St or LSU vs UF for the CBS game and it may come down to the week before (Miss St vs A&M and LSU vs Auburn).

If State and Auburn both win, lock it up on CBS. If LSU and UF win, much better shot at CBS.

Forgot about Auburn vs Miss State.

If Auburn beats LSU, they will likely be undefeated and ranked very high. State could be a 1 loss team (LSU).

UF has Bama and Tenn before they play LSU and are probably the most likely of those four teams to have 2 losses at that point.
