fair point but that was in a pitcher friendly ballpark and they were well rested thanks to Nola and Poche. LSU will need some great starts from Bouman to make this run happen.

I've got a house divided in that series. My step brother played football at ULL and my step dad is all pro ULL because of it. So I'd love to go up there with them and watch the Tigers really show them how to play baseball.

As long as they are not playing LSU, I fully support all other Louisiana teams. I'd love to see LSU v ULL for the championship.

One questions, how has ULL managed to field such competitive baseball teams over the years? They aren't that big of a school, however not tiny either. Are they picking up players who don't have the academics to get into LSU and other traditional power houses?

By "over the years" you mean this year, right? They have been a very good Sun Belt program for the last decade, but they have not been a national player for quite a while. In the early 2000s they made the great run to Omaha, and I think they had another home regional win but lost to Rice in the Supers. But actually, for the last 5 years they have been down. Last year they made their way back into the postseason, and now this season they are having a great year.

True but the ballpark had little effect on sundays game. Add to that we'll be at home and if we get to omaha, TDA is the ultimate pitchers park. Bouman has also been absolutely fantastic his last 2 starts.

ULL is really really good, but I also believe MissSt/OM will be headed to Omaha.

LSU fans may have to pick their poision....If ULL goes down, then it paves the way for an OleMiss CWS appearance. Would yall rather ULL or Ole Miss in Omaha? Personally, I'd rather ULL in Omaha...I have nothing against ULL, and think it would be great for the state if we got two teams to the CWS. I don't want the Ole Miss and Omaha jokes to come to an end.

IF the cajuns don't win the regional, I'll most likely eat something for dinner, take a shower, brush my teeth, go to bed, and continue living my life
