If you aren't getting a bigger than even payout (e.g., betting similar to the money line), then this is just silly. Why not take the points when you can get them?

I'm familiar with how betting moneyline works, thanks.

I'm trying to gauge how LSU Tiger fans are betting on this game. I think that with moneyline betting, fans will win more if they bet LSU to win straight up. I am interested in learning whether many LSU fans are betting the moneyline on LSU to win straight up. That's all. I'm not trying to start a fight.

Well anyone with a nutsack that thinks LSU is going to win. LSU will be a fairly high payout on the ML.

At +8 1/2 if I were in Nevada I'd put down $110 easy. I'm not a big sports better in general though.

So, you didn't place a bet, right? The thread is directed at folks who put money down on LSU to win, Sir.

I checked out a few on-line betting websites, and, most of them let customers bet as little as one dollar per game.

Pick five games per week, betting one dollar per game, and you get all of the fun without any of the stress that comes with betting big bucks.

I guess you can tell that I'm more of a dollar-better myself !
