I got to record this video from the LSU vs MS State game this weekend, I walked up at the perfect time to record.

Some parts sounded good, some sounded terrible. Hopefully better in person.

That's not the full band. It looks like the larger pep band with 100 members.
I'm sure they have a lot more fun on the road because they can play as much as they want, whenever they want.

Unlike most other SEC schools that send their full bands to multiple games, LSU only sends them to one away game during the regular season. The FSU game in Orlando was that game this year. The full band will go to the SECCG if we make it and to any post-season bowl games.
I don't agree with that practice, but it's been that way for at least the past several years.

i was a music major, they sound really bad. not trying to be mean to college kids, just telling the truth! when i first started following LSU after marrying into fandom, they were really good. now, makes me sad.

The band sounded "empty" and the first part theatrics were downright lame.
