Why can you not buy tickets to all events through lsu instead of crappy SeatGeek- who of course has an up charge of 200% after inflated ticket prices and individual ticket “Processing fees?”
It’s a racket.
Tried to buy baseball tickets for a game in a few weeks.
Standing room only is the only thing left - 5 tickets $60
Figured there is no way they are sold out. Heard I need to go to SeatGeek.
There are plenty of seats and 2-3x the price after it’s all said and done. Paid $183!
Complete racket

You can ALWAYS buy tickets outside of Alex Box.

LSU is sold out… Seatgeek is secondary market

LSU partnered with SeatGeek and other ticket outlets prior to this. LSU used to do this but I guess it was too much for their people to handle efficiently.
LSU ticket office can barely get season tickets out timely. Makes me wonder what they do all day.

You can. But LSU is sold out so they're available on the secondary market now hoss.
Edited to add: The partnership with SeatGeek is great because it links back to your LSU ticket account. Just gotta be quicker and on top of tickets whenever LSU puts them on sale directly.

Because the demand exceeds the capacity. Simple economics here.

There is a very high season ticket renewal rate. Probably 95-98%. LSU really doesn't have tickets to sell

Use the TigerDroppings Ticket Exchange. I sell football and basketball tickets all of the time on this site. SeatGeek gets nothing. I get paid by PayPal or Venmo and I transfer the tickets via the LSU Sports App. Very easy. There are always baseball tickets available for sale. Be careful and "vet" the seller, but should be a lot cheaper.

Yea I considered that I just waited too late and didn’t want to miss the boat if I looked elsewhere. Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind next time.

The demand exceeding capacity doesn’t explain why lsu can’t sell their own damn tickets and people have to pay 100-200% more for tickets to go through a secondary vendor.
A previously affordable outing can quickly become unaffordable like this.

They did sell their own tickets, LSU is NOT selling those tickets on the secondary market, The person who bought them from LSU is selling them.
