If he can coach again next year, that means he wasn't found guilty of anything, which makes this move by Alleva even worse. There will be many many takers for his services next year if he is able to coach. He doesn't need LSU.

All this hate for Alleva regarding this is so fricking stupid. He doesn’t have the juice to make this decision. It’s way above his pay grade. Maybe even Alexander’s too.
The simple fact is Wade fricked up and got caught and put LSU in a horrible position. It sucks, but he is the one to blame for this.

Still all speculative in a court of law. Enough for the NCAA to hammer you but not really much in court.
No one is saying that Wade is going to be convicted of any crime. But it's hard to explain his quotes as anything other than discussing monetary offers to a recruit and his family. Even though it's pretty clear that this is a wide-spread practice, Wade was caught on tape. Has he even denied that he was offering money to recruits and their families?

Hot take is hot. Not a single allegation from the NCAA yet we are suspending our coach when none of the other implicated programs are doing anything of the sort. Our administration is incompetent and has proven it time and again.
