The fact that tiger pitching couldn't finish on Sunday and win a tight game is a huge concern. The amount of free passes lsu gave up is ridiculous. Better clean it up or this will become a bigger problem. This is not the characteristic of a no.1 team.

For all you haters in advance

Wouldn’t quite call it a concern. I don’t know if you noticed how insane the strike zone has been all weekend but when every inning is extended by long counts, the other team is bound to put up points

Losing a game is not characteristic of a number 1 team?

Umps squeezing doesn’t help.

Idiots will downvote you, but you are correct. Their also going to have to be able to hit SEC quality left handed pitching, because they are going to face a lot better pitching than they saw this weekend.

amount of walks is not. I never said losing. Also not being able to win a tighter lower scoring game isn't either. Winning 6-4 6/5 would have shown it. Not today brother.

They took 2 of 3 but they did let a road sweep get away. I think pitching wise everything after the Friday starter is still up in the air. From starters to relievers. People still have the ability to separate themselves from the pack.

Its a not necessarily a concern but needs to be highlighted we need a reliable closer. Little might be there but today he wasn't.

Up 6-4 and end up 8-6 is no bueno

It was really just that 8th inning (which definitely had some very questionable balls that were called). It was 6-4 in the 8th on the road on a Sunday against a top 15 team. It really wasn't that bad. aTm just took advantage of their extra opportunities with the tight-arse strike zone.

The rest of the league just took note...throw lefty's, any lefty's, until LSU proves they can hit leftys.
Good news today is that the entire team, except Crews, of course, played below average for any SEC team all in the same game. Hopefully that will not happen very often.

All LSU had to do today to win that game was for Little to throw strikes to a .100 pinch hitter. No way that kid was going to hit anything hard. Walking him cost LSU the game .

disagree, we scored enough to win. We did look bad at times yes. Pitching has to be better than this. It wasnt. Today was the biggest test for lsu this season this far. Losing Grant Taylor for the season didn't help either.

in the midst of all the walks today that one was the toughest to swallow against an untested batter. Make him swing. We still had to pitch to them in the 9th. Its certainly a concern CJJ better clean up.

Great road series win for the Tigers!

Losing Grant Taylor hurts a little more than we thought, but we’ll be okay.

The strike zone was an obvious anomaly. It’s no coincidence that we haven’t had an issue and it hits us in the rear end when you’re having to get 4 or 5 strikes per batter. Then you end up just have to toss a pitch down the middle just to get a call. It was in our guys heads big time. Not something to be concerned about.
