Ehh this is a 9:30am start for a young team that hasn’t left Louisiana yet. The way this year is going... this score really shouldn’t surprise you. I’m not making excuses, I’m just saying anyone can beat anyone. Hopefully the girls wake up and we win this one.

Because Cummins couldn't be pinch-run for.
And was it a bad send by Beth? She has a tendency to do that from time to time. Could have had bases loaded 1 out with Pleasants due up

Cummins isn't fast, it was a perfect throw but I thought she beat the throw originally. Torina argued for a bit and she doesn't argue much.
If she holds Cummins, she scores on a sac fly from Pleasants. Maybe a bit too aggressive with only one out and Pleasants up.

I will defend Torina to the death, but my pet peeve about her has been situations where she sends runners into outs when she has RBI potential waiting to hit.
Without even seeing it, she should have held Cummins. Bases loaded, 1 out, best hitter due up.

I completely agree with you. If its Andrews, Stewart or Briggs I would have been okay but Cummins is one of the slowest kids on the team. Let Pleasants either get a hit, sac fly or grounder to score the run instead of running yourself out of innings.
