Irrelevent.
Actually, no. He takes it to a licensed vendor and they would be charged with securing the rights, colors, etc. through LSU. It would save time and paperwork. I know Brian Hommell who administrates this program for LSU and he does a great job outlining to vendors what is expected by LSU. I believe every piece produced is signed off on by LSU.

So you are going to tell me none of the honey badger shirts say LSU on them?
Posted on 11/1/11 at 8:19 pm to chalupa
Honey Badger shirt was locally produced by a licensed vendor. Tiger District I believe.

Thanks CT.
I know someone and will be checking into it, but for now trying to see if it would be worth asking and would still like to see who would want one and how would they like it and what else to put on it.
So far this was the idea.
With possibly Keeping our eye on the SEC

Don't forget you need SEC approval for this as well.

There was Tons of diff honey badger shirts made by local peeps. This is getting off topic. Anyway I would want atleast 2-3 shirts. Grey with purple logo and keeping our eye on the SEC on back with LSU on the front. Would be sweet!

Based on what Ive heard: It doesn't matter who sells them- you don't have to have a license to do that. You just need a licensed printer...
Also I don't think Tiger District's Honey Badger shirt is licensed by LSU. There was a reveille article that talked about that.

Also for what it's worth- try posting it to collegedistrict.com and they'll do the licensing work for ya. I'm not sure what the revenue share is though.

Eye of Tiger is Trademarked w LSU.
So are the colors.
So is SEC.
My music note shirts are TMd by me.
My tee shirts are licensed thru an LSU Vendor.
fwiw.

I have calls out to 2 vendors and should hear from them tomorrow.

Definitely like this man. I agree with the posts about grey shirt - large on the back, with small lsu something in the front corner.
Another suggestion- try making the borders between the adjacent states bigger to flow better with purple maybe. I'm assuming the bright yellow was just a quick mock up? Gotta have all the same yellow. Keep the updates coming, I think you got something good here.

Maybe put a star on Baton Rouge. Or do something to differentiate Louisiana.
