I will be in section 101 with 18 of my family members. If you are trying to go to the game for a reasonable price per ticket (highly subjective), check the off the beaten path ticket companies like Gametime (app only). I purchased all 18 in the same section and row for under $250 per. That’s not great, but buying for such a large group was challenging and getting them consecutively even more so. Obviously my screen name tells you everything you need to know. A Louisiana boy married a Texas gal and I have been looking forward to this matchup since we got beat by these jokers in 2003. That was our first major date as it were. The North Remembers :)

Why? Because they care more about their own fans and maximizing their home field advantage than they do about giving visitors good seats? WTF is wrong with that? If I had my way, there wouldn't be a single visiting fan seated in the lower bowl of Tiger Stadium. The same goes for visiting bands.

frick no. No more neutral site games. The atmosphere feels more like an NFL game, and it's bad for the local economies of both Baton Rouge and Austin. This has been hashed and rehashed ad nauseum, but I'll do it one more time. Seating visitors in the upper deck is not a policy that's unique to UT, and it's not Tom Herman's doing either. The Big XII allows its member schools to do it, so they do. The SEC prohibits it, so they don't.

It will be interesting to see if LSU banishes the Texas band and fans to the upper reaches of the East side, or if they cave in and allocate some visitor seats in the lower bowl. I will be pissed if it's the latter. We should give UT exactly what they give us. No better or no worse.

Mom told me LSU used to do it in the 1950's according to her version which she deemed unfair and lowdown.

Pretty sure this game will be the most epic day of business in the history of that establishment. Good time to open an LSU bar in Austin.

Rustic Tap on 6th is an LSU bar as well

Section 113. We did Shoal Creek for baseball in February. It was ok. For a so-called "LSU bar" I expected a little memorabilia. Gotta give back a little and dress up the place in LSU, not just take our $$$.
