The key is that the Tigers must keep the ball on long sustained drives. As long as we can run the ball, we can keep Oregon and our defense off the field. This would give us a real advantage.

When teams have committed to this against Oregon in the past, it's been highly successful if they've had more than 2 weeks to prepare.

Seems like LSU is going about it the right way. Will simply be a matter of if some of the younger DL and LB's can stay disciplined enough with the emotions of game time.


As for Oregon's practices, Kelly says nothing is going in for the LSU game until game week. Focused on putting in the full offense and defense for the season.
