Ch. 3 in BR right now. Cal is damn strong rugby.

there is no "touchdown" in rugby.
there is, however, to kick for touch:
In rugby, the touch line separates the touch (out of bounds) from the pitch (playing field). A rugby kick for touch is the close equivalent of an out-of bounds punt in American football. It is used to move play towards the other team's goal. It's considered a strong defensive move.

This rugby stuff is far more entertaining than baseball. It's cool that NBC is covering this. Maybe the sport will replace baseball as our favorite spring pastime.

Once people understand the rules, it becomes really fun to watch.

Very entertaining, only gripe is I wish the halves were longer than 7 minutes.

I like that the games are short. I'm sold on this sport it's a lot of fun to watch

Rugby is actually replacing baseball already... as an Olympic sport

Halves are longer in Pro I believe. It's like football without the strategy, and soccer without the pussies.

No promises, but from what I can tell...
LSU and Ohio State play today at 5:06 CDT on Versus. We are already eliminated from Bracket A, so on Sunday we drop to the Challenger division.
Our first game is on Universal Sports (whatever that is) around 11 AM. If we win that one, we will play again on Versus a around 2 PM. If we win that game, we play on NBC at 4.

This is 7s, not standard 15 man rugby. Think regular soccer as compared to 6 vs. 6. There's fewer people, more scoring, and short halves. In regular rugby (league or union), the halves are 40-45min.

Army/Navy... always good no matter the sport

Navy on a 15-0 run after being down 12-0
edit: of course Army ends the run right after I type that... Navy killing themselves by not being able to get the extra 2 pts

Army's gonna win this one.
Army won it by getting 2 of their 2 pt attempts from right in front of the posts (easy makes)
all 3 of Navy's 2 pt attempts were out by the touch lines and all missed badly

Cal Berkley is a damn strong rugby team. I have seen their full 15 man team play before today.
They are awesome at both 7s and 15s.
