NBC shows the ND team singing 5 dollar foot long for Subway, but doesn't show LSU whipping their arse 24-0.

I'm pissed. And to top it off, USA Rugby won't certify me as a ref until sometime after August, when they'll want me to pay them again.

How can we find more NCAA rugby coverage? It's unfortunate that we got to watch this just once a year. I say COX Sports should televise LSU rugby mathces.

Though it pisses a lot of people off not being seen, the fact that LSU had representation at the tournament is a huge plus for the university and will probably add fans throughout the south. See other SEC teams?

NBC is only showing rugby for the Olympic views it's hoping to get in 2012 (as an exhibition event) and on.
However, with that said, they will be showing select matches from the world cup in September and October in New Zealand
. USA's pool consist of Australia, Ireland, Italy, and Russia. So we may actually win 1 match

This weekend was my first time to ever watch rugby. I didnt even know LSU had a team. I really enjoyed watching the tournament.

Last year Florida and Tennessee both went and neither did well. Also, New Orleans Rugby is playing for the DII National Championship tomorrow

I know it sucks that NBC didn't show the LSU match, but thats the world we live in.
NBC is Notre Dame's network. You can bet your arse that if the score had been 24-0 Notre Dame and not 24-0 LSU they would have showed the entire match and praised the Irish the entire way.

Too bad for you. THink of the high school kids that are 'tough enough' for football but don't get along with a coach, or don't play football well. Now they have a choice. See any 390 pounders out there? IT takes a certain kind to play rugby (y'all know this) and the more interested the better. THis is good for LSU and rugby.

this is a good point... it becomes an official olympic sport in 2016 in Rio so they're trying to garner interest in it
