So why would A&M get more tickets and LSU not?

Its because those 2500 didn't want SRO.

A&M's students do.

luckily, the Aggie Students are definitely used to losing Bowl games

the SRO tickets are in the endzones up high

and this is your view unless you are up on the rail:

My bad ... I've never been to the stadium. Field level or not, you're staring at the big screen and you're standing, and there are people on this thread criticizing students for wanting to be at a football game. Do these jokers realize they're posting on a college football board? You're supposed to like football on here. You're supposed to support your team. Seems like a comical insult to me.

And the Cotton Bowl could issue another 1000 SRO if they so wished. The Cowboys sold about 30k a couple years ago, while a total cluster frick, they still can fit many thousands.

Plus, LSU would have offered any extras to the season ticket holders and then waitlist people and then finally general public. For the Florida game I was awarded 2 tix and then later offered two more. Very rare to send back tix.

They now goto students at Texas A&M.

Are the seats padded in the SRO section? Should I bring my chair back?

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to drive 8 hours and get an expensive hotel room so I can watch the game by standing in a room and looking at a jumbotron while doing so. Those look awful!

Seems like with all the ranters that are constantly posting about other LSU fans wanting them to sit down, SRO would be the preferred LSU ticket option! So I call total bullshite on this thread.

It'll be SRO in my den with the 60" plasma. But I've reserved my Lay-Z-Boy, so I'm good!

And yeah, "Gig em'" is waaaayyyy gay. I think of fried frog legs when I read or hear that. LOL

Congrats. That makes you 1-15 the past 16 Directors Cups against LSU. Then again, don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, right?

I believe your buddy is the one with his facts all screwed up. Every year A&M and LSU are within a couple of places in the Directors cup. So I believe it is you that doesn't have his facts straight. I'm not the one proclaiming my athletics program to be ">>>>>>>>>>>" better than LSU's.
