7-5, maybe 8-4 at best.

Why stop there? go for 5-7 or 3-9.

Why?

To feed your posigayness?

LSU has a tough schedule and losing alot of experience.

Plus, like I said, I reserve the right to change since we are still in the '09 season.

New coaches, recruiting, Jr's leaving, etc. will make a difference.

Sorry I should have realized this was just a chest bump and high five thread, not a realistic one. Yeah 14-0 baby, Miles fixes everything, RS in the Wild Tiger, Jerry Rice is our WR coach, etc.

You guys/gals are not feeling very happy, I can tell from the posts.

Let me be the first to say, 12-0 is actually possible. 13-0 too.

And the NC too.

And yes, so is 6-6.

From my point of view, it depends on who is OC.

I puke at the thought of another year of no-huddle.
I took the name of the Lord in vain about 300 times, the first few hours after the Ole Miss game.

Sometimes you have to run the ball. The Ole Miss game was one such example, on first and ten from the 31 or whatever it was with a minute left.
I observed Miles to defend that. If so, I am done with him too.
If he gets it, there will be another OC.

Please spare me.

We are as in the mix just like everyone else.

Miles is 1-2 against Saban and if we weren't left with just Lee as our QB in the last 2 we might have pulled it off. People act as if Miles has been outcoached by Saban when he hasn't at all. The Bama games might be some of his best coached SEC games of the last 3 years. Florida is definitely a toss up as they are losing their biggest leaders.

Bama hasn't had a great offense for 3 years so I don't see why people would think they will be nearly as good while they lose the whole defense. I still expect Bama to have a good record next year, but probably slide back some.

Look, it makes no sense to me for you to say you defended the program until recently, meaning last season, when we were getting creamed by Fla, Ga, Miss, were 3-5 in conference, and unranked, but now you have jumped off the bandwagon when the team has better results now than when you were on the wagon. Shoot me, but that makes no sense to me.
Because I blamed it on the QB, not the coach. The reality was it was alot of both, but mostly poor coaching by Les and Gary. Now it's the Les and Gary show again this year, and not much is better, other than the lack of INT's.

As to Tech, we were coming off an emotional loss and 40% of our starters on O were out. It's called a trap game and they happen all the time to lots of teams.

Excuses. Miles claim to fame is supposedly that he doesn't let this kind of thing happen and that he destroys his OOC opponents. If you can't get the starter to get up for that game, then sit their asses down and let the backups play, who have a burning desire to prove themselves, how hard is this to understand?

I have seen Tiger stadium when a "seachange" has occurred and that didn't happen this yr. Sorry, but discontented fans on a sports forum, some calls to radio shows, and some boo birds in full stands does not equate to a "seachange" in my book.
The seachange is in attitude, you may not "see it", but it's there. The stands emptying out by halftime is also a good sign, this happens alot now in the Miles tenure, especially lately.

Label me what you wish, but I'm not going to lose my water cause we haven't won the SEC in 2 yrs and I'm not going to turn my back on 50+ wins in 5 yrs, 4-0 in bowl games with a shot at 5-0, 3 yrs ranked in the top 5, a current top 14 ranking with a shot at top 10, and a national title. I'm going to give the man the chance he has earned based on a pretty damn fine record to steady the wagon.
I'm not turning my back on the past, I'm looking to the future, and I don't like what I see. I hope I'm wrong, but there's a good chance I'm not. I don't want to be right, but that doesn't mean I can't express my opinion on what I "think" I see. I can't prove it because I can't time travel, but the signs are alarming. I've been watching LSU football a long time and supported the team forever, so I've earned a bit of capital that I can use to vent my frustrations with.

You mean other than the fact we have a better conference record, a better over all record, a 14th ranked team as opposed to a non ranked team, and better bowl? Seems bout everything is better to me, but each to our own.

Some spend so much time looking into the future that they can't enjoy the present. The present presents you with an LSU football team which is ranked #14 and that team is getting ready, maybe, to take on Penn St in a New Years Day bowl. What's not to like or vent bout in that?
