Which is what you are doing, have YOU seen the video?
I'm just going with the media is saying is in the police report... For some reason I have a difficult time believing a message board poster who claims to have knowledge, but is reporting something that nobody else is and leaving out other details at the same time. In the end I think the Hill walks and continues his football career at LSU, but everyone involved comes out looking bad. That includes our program.

Report from Nola.com, which I remind you is the only facts of the case we have. Love to see how the Rant's story of gossip trump that of a news release by the DA's office.

He was a super senior I believe, wasn't he 18 or 19?
If you got convicted and labeled a sex offender for doing the same thing, and he got off, you would be ok with this?

Have you seen said video, or are you going purely on what people on the rant are saying?
I'm going off what the police report and district attorney said

Jeez dude, you'd think JHill shot your dog or something.
So how would you handle this?
Guy has a carnal knowledge of a minor charge, on probation because he had sexual relations with a 14 year old. Now he assaults someone outside of a bar. What are we thinking, slap on the wrist? Maybe a few extra suicides at practice?
Get over yourself, he committed his first CRIME at 18, didn't learn his lesson and there are consequences for that.

So you've never seen the video, and your only source of information is a news outlet who is roughly 60 miles from campus. I've never defended JHill; however, I believe your reading comprehension is off a little bit because you keep assuming I am in support of him. The only point I have made is that this isn't a big deal for the football team, and that Miles will not kick him off the team.

What? He's not a sex offender.
Tell me what the difference is between a 14 and 17 year old and a 14 and an 18 year old?
People act like that behavior doesn't happen EVERY DAY in america. A freshman and a senior in HIGHSCHOOL.

Someone ban this bama troll

It's the same article from Nola, dude. There you go again.

Lets change the subject for shits and giggles:
If this were Mett instead of J.Hill, what percent of the rant would be happy, and what percent of the rant would be pissed?
I am going with 60/40 in favor of happy due to Jennings.
HEHE

No reading comprehension problem here. Simply laugh at your idea that the knowledgeable posters on the rant have more reliable facts than a media report and the DA's office do.

Ha. Funny thing..You call yourself a fan, but you are putting one kid above every other on the team and the school. Great fan you are.

Well it has hit national news and the way they are reporting, it doesn't look good for Hill.
Look just one below yours. Some believe these little mishaps don't effect the team. I'm sure in the grand scheme of things this event along with the most recent few are improving our program.

That's not what I asked.
He got off, you would have been charged as a sex offender.
Would you be ok with it then?
I'm not talking about the morality of it, even though I personally wouldn't have done it

My point is the way is is reported. Read the first paragraph. How is Les gonna keep this kid when it reads :
quote:
Jeremy Hill, the LSU running back arrested over the weekend for battery, may never play football again at LSU. The police report is out and it’s disgusting. And remember, Hill is the same disturbed individual who in high school forced a 14-year-old to perform oral sex on him. He wound up pleading guilty to lesser charges. NOLA.com has the police report from last weekend’s “fight” and I use quotes because really, it was a cheap shot:
