and you read my mind on margin of error in that i am talking about getting a decent enough seeding to play a double-digit seed in round one and possibly avoid the 1 seed in rounds two or three if we can get that deep ..

is it wrong to just be happy to be there? sure winning would be great, but if you would have told me on Nov 1 we'd be ranked, possibly SEC Champs, and an 8 seed in the tournament, I would have called you insane. Winning there would be icing on the cake for me.

we were actually one of the favorites to win the west pre-season, brah ..

There's 6 teams in the division. Big deal if we were "one" of the teams that had a chance to win it. LSU has still massively exceeded expectations. LSU has completely taken the division by storm, and has a decent chance to take the entire conference by storm and win almost 25 games.

how exactly have we taken a division "by storm" that we were one of the favorites to win ? the division has basically fallen out the way most expected LSU and Miss State battling for the title ... you knew we were going to have a decent number of non-conference wins based on our schedule outside of utah, texas a&m, and xavier ... where LSU is catching you off guard is that we're finally playing up to our potential .. you are basing your "surprise" on what john brady and staff did with this same basic talent last year -- which was underachieve like shite ...

Right when SEC BB play was about to begin they were making fun of LSU's record and schedule calling LSU one of the weakest SEC teams this season. Props to our new coach, he's done one hell of a job coaching these players up.
