That is a listing of single season leaders in touchdown passes, not career.

These are single-season, not career.

Burrow had 76 total TDs in his career.

I’ve heard many people say that a good QB is the only thing holding LSU down, and that list would tend to prove that point. JB numbers are ridiculous, but #2-3 were good enough with decent defenses. Glaring stats!

You also have to consider the change in offenses the last 20 years.

Mauck was 13th in the nation in TDs

Jamarcus was 11th

Max was 23rd. I'm not bashing him or anything but lots of passing records now are falling every year pretty much.
