This is for everyone bitching about rather we'd be where we are now(10-0) with Jefferson, without Jefferson, with Lee, without Lee. How Lee is the better passer and Jefferson is just not the same. Jefferson and Lee are basically the same person throwing the ball. These are their career stats and any person who did not take time to look at them would not be able to tell who was who between them.

QB A has the following stats:
3,932 Passing Yards
31 Passing TD's
21 Interceptions
56% Completion Percentage

QB B has the following stats:
4,354 Passing Yards
31 Passing TD's
18 Interceptions
58% Completion Percentage

I have supported Lee since 2008 saying that he would be a good QB if we stick with his growing pains. I was upset last night when he did not get more playing time because I felt as if he earned it through his play this season. However, I can equally say that Jefferson deserves his playing time. So if you're going to bitch about Jefferson find something new because he is just as good as Lee passing(coming from a Lee supporter).

I choose not to use stats from the 2008 season when discussing who should start in the 2011 season.

That's just me, though.

If you take Lee's worst season then you should equally remove 2010 for Jefferson.

There shouldn't be a versus thread but it is what it is. JJ can go 20-23 for 323 yds and 5 tds and people would still find something to complain about. See JR 2006.

I appreciate your position here, but why can't we have two QB's. If one is down perhaps one is up.

Don't help the media by driving a wedge between these two kids

did you see that ugle saftey vs a weak team, it looked like the spike on fourth down vs ole miss and the situation in ten last year. on a more important note its obvieous jj is not a leader the team looks divided with him as starter.

I think what happened last year is a little more relevant than what happened in 2008. But once again, that's just me.

However, I'm not really judging the 2011 season for each player based off of 2008 or 2010. I'm judging it off of 2011.

I believe that Lee deserves to start, based on the success he has had this season. I also believe that Jefferson should play a large amount of snaps, as well. A true 2-quarterback system, like we have been doing since the Kentucky and Florida games.

I see no reason for Jefferson to get every snap through the first 3 quarters like he got last night. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Instead of taking career stats, why don't we just look who has had the best regular season? The best season by either qb was Lee's season this year. He was much better than Jefferson was last year.

It's just not fair to talk about something that was 3 years ago when you're talking about who's the best for us right now. Now it's a different story when Jefferson had two full seasons and didn't seem to improve. Especially when his second season was just last year.

Yes I saw the safety against WKU. I don't think them being a "weak" team should make it any different. I remember Lee struggling against La Tech last year.

We played UT in Tiger Stadium last year. So I don't know what you're talking about there.

Based on what?

I agree with you. I think Lee's play this year has warranted significant playing time.

Except that, you know, he did improve last year. In fact, he improved drastically as the season progressed.

Jefferson had a sophomore slump for part of 2010.

This year, Crowton is gone. Lee has improved. Jefferson has improved. The offense has improved.

LSU is 10-0. Life is terrific.

Geaux Lee! Geaux Jefferson! Geaux Tigers!

I don't think a lot of you grasp things. You think it's fair to judge one Qb based on a previous year, but not another based on a previous year because his was too far back. I support Lee playing over Jefferson; however, if you look at past years you cannot select what you look at and still remain objective.

You would be wrong. Jefferson's 2009 season through 9 games was equal in numbers.

I see it from both Qb's. Lee has had some int's dropped and Jefferson made a stupid decision that cost the team 2 points. You're doing a knee-jerk reaction.
