This one stands out for me, not because it was a game changer like the others, but being there and hearing 80,000 collective WTF? when he fielded it, followed shortly by nothing but cheers was awesome

In 1959 LSU was the defending NC and ranked No1 and Ole Miss (a perennial power back then) was No3. The magnitude of the game, the number of broken tackles, and ultimately the only Heisman trophy for an LSU player, makes this the best and the rest a distant second. IMHO

TM7 should definitely have a couple in the Top 5.

Don't know if this was the best in LSU history.
But I have to agree, kennison's return seems to stand out with me.

Eddie Kennison for 101 yards against MSU, from the endzone.

At the game, I remember saying to my buddy "he's gonna run it out of the EZ, oh shite!"

T. Kinchen had a couple of exciting returns, also Domanick Davis.

1. Billy Cannon's Halloween Run and it's not even close. Not only was Billy's return the greatest punt return in LSU history, but it was one of the greatest in all of college football. Halloween Night 1959 is forever ingrained in the lore of LSU football.

kennison v MSU, Kinchen v A&M,

Two of the greatest, but overshadowed by Curleyball. I remember when Kennison picked up the ball on the goal line and asking myself "What in the world is he doing" That was one of the few highlights of the entire '94 season.

Cannon, because he broke about 6 tackles on the way to the win. Obj also looked great!

Billy Cannon is the only correct answer.

Last night's run was great, and it certainly went a long way in delivering the Win, but Cannon's run on Halloween night is myth/legend/reality. Miles even referenced it in his press conference.
