LSU pros other fanbases (or you) don’t associate with the school

I’ve seen these threads on the SEC rant. The one that always stuck out to me was wide receiver Mike Wallace attending Ole Miss. I realize he’s not a HOF-caliber player, but when this guy would play in a prime time game for the Steelers, I completely forgot he was a Rebel.
For LSU, I still have a hard time remembering these guys as Tigers for one reason or another:
Arden Key - makes sense due to his issues that kept him off the field
Deion Jones - he was great his senior year. I guess this is more symbolic of the end of the Miles era
Anthony Randolph - on to basketball. Dude was hyped as a lottery pick before coming to LSU. Of course he only spent a year in BR, but so did Ben Simmons, and I think his connection is strong than Randolph’s. His numbers were solid, but the team absolutely sucked.
Brad Hawpe - baseball is kind of a different animal. With that said, Hawpe was an All-Star and helped lead the Rockies to the World Series.
Chad Ogea - a native of LA, and I know he was associated with Big Leagues in BR. He had a solid career on some outstanding Indians teams.
Paul Byrd - I’ll pair him with Ogea. Maybe it’s because I was 5 years old when LSU won the 1991 CWS. Byrd pitched a long time, and I still don’t recall announcers mentioned the Tigers with him and Ogea the way they do with say...Bergman.

I don’t find the announcers ever really mention colleges in baseball

Dominican Republic/Cuban colleges never get much press

This doesn't really have anything to do with what you are asking but I had no idea Clay Parker (Columbia native and LSU punter from early 80's) even played baseball until I saw him pitching for the Yankees 5 or 6 years after he left LSU.
